Job title: Executive (Projects)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to fill the position of Executive (Projects). You are passionate about social issues and want to invest your time in creating positive change. You have a strong interest in humanitarian engineering and its ability to help disadvantaged communities. You are excited by the prospects of working in a dynamic start-up non-profit organisation, and the opportunities to learn from and contribute to the growth of the organisation.

Roles and responsibilities

In this role, you will report directly to the Executive Director, and be responsible for oversight and coordination of our local projects. This includes the following roles:

  • Liaise with our partner organisations to understand needs, scope projects, and strengthen partnerships
  • Coordinate the recruitment, management and communications with project managers and project team members
  • Monitor and oversee progress of all projects
  • Preparation and management of grants to support these projects
  • Support internal and external activities, outreach events, and other duties essential to the running of a small charity
